visiting Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem in GAZA

Speaking from Gaza, visiting Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem urged "an end to the assault and aggression" against the Palestinian territory.
"We are adamant to continue to support and provide assistance to our fellow citizens in Gaza," he said in expressing his "solidarity" towards the Palestinians.
Abdessalem also said that he hopes that his short visit will "carry political significance" that would "yield practical measures on the ground" leading to an end of the crisis.
Abdessalem is set to meet with top officials of the Arab League following his visit in Gaza.
Even as Abdessalem was visiting Gaza, Israeli air strikes continue on central and southern Gaza killing at least four people.
The latest deaths now raised the overall death toll in Gaza to 34. Three Israelis were also killed from rocket attacks.
